What we were looking for last week:

I don't remember the title or the author of this fic, but I do remember how it went... Bella Swan is a teacher, her female students spend a good portion of their time fawning over the latest photo shoot of male model Edward Cullen. Secretly she's married to Edward, they had to keep their marriage a secret because of his profession. They were married in a secret ceremony while she was still in college. Edward is almost out of his contract (at which time they will be able to be open about their relationship) when he's approached about becoming an actor. He does, and Bella's still a secret. She finds out she's pregnant and he has to choose his career or his family. There is also a small side story within this fic about two of Bella's students. I can't remember their names, but I know that at least one of them is very unusual. I've tried looking, but not remembering the names of the story or the author has made it difficult. Thanks for your help.

I know which fic Lulabell75 is looking for, is called "All the right reasons" by Eevy Angel, I believe it even had a sequel. However, she pulled the story and seems like she left the fandom altogether. Too bad.

I'm searching for a great fic where the plotline is as follows: It's all Human. Bella and Edward were childhood friends. They sleep together once then he goes of to Hollywood to be an actor. Bella finds out she's pregnant and gives birth to a son but never tells Edward. They stay in touch but only through phonecalls. About 5 years later Edward cinvinces her to visit him, they fall back in love, she leaves, he follows her home and meets his son. He takes Bella and his son with him to his house in Hollywood. After some struggles there's a happy end and a second child.
I'd be thrilled if someone knows this fic so I can read it again and again and again...

The Blessing and the Curse is one of those stories that sucks you in from the very beginning and once started is next to impossible to put down. The_Black_Arrow’s descriptive prose is so spot-on, reading her story is like watching a film. This Bella is insecure and conflicted. This Edward, aka Curseward, is possessive and jealous. The supporting characters are richly developed. This is not a happy, feel-good story. Darkness, angst, and sadness prevail for much of it, but what keeps readers involved is the connection between the characters. Bella and Edward share a bond that goes beyond the natural world into the spiritual.  An excerpt from the prologue:

Have you ever gone looking for a fic and it promises to be funny, but it really isn’t?  The ones, where the characters are underdeveloped or worst case, the lemons just aren’t realistic?  I have a story for you that solves all these problems.  

Love in My Box is a joint effort on the parts of Cosmogirl7481 and Marvar29, two lovely ladies on opposite ends of the country who as they say, met on Fan Fiction, fell in love and are now raising a...err...writing a story together.  

Meet Edward, in his fourth year of medical school at Dartmouth.  He’s extremely particular, exceptionally bright and somewhat nerdy.  He’s got no game with the women according to his ex-girlfriend.  Bella is a Women’s Studies student at the University of California, Berkeley.  She is a shy, forward thinker, women’s libber, nice girl with a romantic streak, trying to be more exciting and adventurous to appease her best friend Rose.  

Bella and Edward meet in a bar in Miami during spring break and after copious amounts of Jack and Coke, hook up for an amazing night of passion that ended less than perfectly.   Edward seeks her out via email, desperate to reconnect.  What ensues is a sexy, beautiful, long-distance, love-filled romance, full of entertaining asides, medical references and stories about hijinks at the gym.   

The hilarious dialogue and the extremely good development of character is what makes this story an absolute winner.  Add in the secondary characters and their own funny quirks and issues (Charlie, a member of Promise Keepers?) and you have a wonderfully lighthearted romance that will keep you begging for updates and re-reading chapters because they are that good.

Lets Get Physical 

 The Goal: Lose 70lbs. The Prize: One steamy night with her personal trainer. When overweight Bella is left by her husband, she is determined to lose weight with the help of Edward Masen. What starts off as payback ends up as so much more.


Trying to come up with something witty as an intro for this post and I am failing badly so I will ramble.


Lalina was my first ever interview back over a year ago when we started this blog. If you have not read any of her stuff then I suggest you start now and the one you should start with is Let's Get Physical I think it is her best yet !
This fic is about a fat Bella with low self esteem her husband James who we meet in the first chapter is... well an ass they separate and Bella wants to makeover her life.


She was not always heavy but as many of us know time is not always kind to the body. Bella has some serious things she has to work through in this story
She has a perfect body image in mind and that sabotages her efforts to makeover her own life.


Now we are all (mostly) girls here and we know that there is always something you are not going to like about yourself: wrinkles, greying hai,r the pouch of a stomach after having kids, strech marks, thighs, teeth not white enough, arms not tone enough. We look in the mirror and we do not see the airbrushed perfect image of US that we want to see.


What I LOVE about this fic is that Bella is like that. She is very real in her self hatred. What I love even more is that as time goes on she is going to learn to love things about herself she has never thought to look at before


SO my preachy side is gonna come out now we as women are too hard on ourselves we see beauty in pictures and magazines an image of perfection that for many is unattainable.

Now, Edward in this fic. Oh golly how does he fit in.
Edward is a personal trainer. Yeah he gets paid to work out. Poor Bella goes into this gym HOPING to get a female trainer and finds the only one available is this young beautiful guy.
How humiliating!
The thing I like about this is that, AS Edward gets to know Bella, he sees the beauty in her it has nothing to do with her body or her looks. It is who she is.
No love at first site let me save you and make you mine kinda thing THIS one has a process and both characters have to grow into it

Found That Fic Quest 1

Here's what we were searching:

It's the story who's name was "All Grown Up". It was a Bella story, most of all, but has Edward as well. They are neighbors,  she is bff with Alice, who is sister to E and he is older. Over the years, he notices her and they get together, but not for long and them he marries a model, and she marries a Italian musical producer. She sleeps with Edward once, and gets pregnant but never tells E. Over the 2 years go by, her husband dies in a plane crash and at the funeral they all notice the kid looks like E. It's really angsty but really good. She also wrote six degrees of separation. I was reading it when it was pulled, so not sure about that one. Anyway, thanks lol.
