Silver's interview with Kenoshachick about her Hunger Games fic 'Scars'

Post-CF. Peeta is rescued from the Capitol by Katniss and her band of rebels; however, after months of torture it is unknown if he will survive. It is also unknown if Katniss will survive if he doesn't. Majority written prior to the publication of MJ.

When I first finished Catching Fire, I started searching for something to read while waiting for Mockingjay to be released. Rae told me to check out “Scars” and I was hooked from the moment I began reading.  I can’t recommend this story enough to anyone who is a fan of Peeta/Katniss. The plot is original but follows on well from the ending of Catching Fire, and all of the characters are both real and well written.  It would now be considering an alternative ending to Mockingjay, and at sometimes I almost prefer it. The author is wonderful  (even though her writing sometimes makes my heart break and her views on Alex Pettyfer make me sad) and I really enjoyed having the opportunity to interview her.

Let's Talk About Books

Today we are gonna talk about something OTHER than Twi fic.

WHY? Well because it has been my crazy dream to make the blog SYTYCW about all fandoms. Oddly enough I do not have time to read tons of fics in ALL fandoms.

We have rec'd some HP fic here and there (I still think we need more) and NOW there is something that has been sweeping the globe being touted as the NEXT Twilight (meaning the sensation that surrounded it).

I am talking about The Hunger Games Trilogy by Susan Collins
Summary: Sixteen-year-old Katniss Everdeen regards it as a death sentence when she is forced to represent her district in the annual Hunger Games, a fight to the death on live TV. But Katniss has been close to death before - and survival, for her, is second nature. "The Hunger Games" is a searing novel set in a future with unsettling parallels to our present. Welcome to the deadliest reality TV show ever.
If you have not read these books please do. I read them they are fabulous and transport you to another world.
