FLASHBACK Friday

SUE is not so good with making banners.

THIS weeks flashback is:

For the Summer by Camoozle

NOW, why did I choose this one ?
It was because I remember this pic from the post.
<<<<<< If you read the fic, then you know what I am talking about. If NOT, well read it and see !

I remember how excited I was to read this the first time.
I spent last night re-reading the fic. Then writing this up. I remember all the reasons I love it in the first place.
Now you have probably heard me talk about this before, but there is a reason we love fic so much.
Yes, part if it has to do with the talent of the lovely people that write for us. Though a great deal of it has to do with the shared experience of episodic writing.
It is the whole "OH MY GOD ____ updated" *poof* thing.
Then coming together to talk about the update.

Fic is our soap opera. Some fics stand the test of time, are amazing, and a good read no matter what.
For the Summer is one of those fics.

This is the story you want to have easy access to. You can read it on the beach, on a rainy day, or even in the winter time.

People my age will marvel at the little facts about the time of year. The chapter is set in
details on pop culture of our youth.

You see I am  Bella's age in this story. So, this fic tells about my summers as a kid and teen.
I even worked at a tourist place as young teen (family owned too!).

SO, go on, open this one up. If you never read it, give it a chance. If you loved it the first time, trust me, it is just as good the second or third time around.

Also, don't forget to leave Camoozle some lovin for this marvelous story!

Well that my dears is how we will do the Flashback Friday posts.
Remember, if you have a fic that you loved that you want to talk about give me a yell and let me know.

Soooo happy that you're bringing a whole new "generation" to this wonderful fic. It's definitely one of the best I've ever read, and I've read a LOT! Just a warning, though: I cried my heart out at the end of every chapter when Edward left her to go back home at the end of each summer. But oh, their reunions were always amazing! You make me want to go reread it. Actually, I've loved everything Camoozle's written, so make sure to check out her other fics, too. You won't be sorry!

Oh, and make sure to read the EPOV outtakes, "During the Off Season", when you're done. They're amazing! Always love me some EPOV, especially in this story...
