Beautiful Nightmare by Simone Marie

Summary: It took only one night, one action, for Jasper's world to be shattered. Will Edward and Co be able to pick up the pieces or will newcomer Alice be the one to stop the nightmares? WHY should I (the reader) read your story?

Firstly, there are not a lot of Jasper/Alice stories out there. Sure, Jasper is a well liked character, but the majority of stories I've read where he is the main character, involve him being in some kind of relationship with Bella.  I wanted to bring it back to the original pairing, and whilst from the outset, that may not appear to be the case, the relationship that the pair of them have is bittersweet.  As their friendship progresses, they find out that they are tied to each other in more ways than they originally anticipated and in some circumstances, that may not necessarily be a good thing.  I'm not going to lie here, this story is one emotional rollercoaster.  Whilst BN may be lacking in lemons, its overflowing with emotion and feeling as the relationship between Jasper and Alice continues to grow.   I would also say that even though this is primarily a Jasper/Alice storyline, the main emphasis is on Jasper's journey as he tries to deal with the aftermath of the devastating events that have completely turned his life upside down. I created a storyline that takes you beyond the average 'happy ending' and asks what would I do, if this was me? 

Where did you get inspiration?

I needed something different; something that was so out there that it could be a true story. I also wanted to write something that had a storyline that grabs the readers from the start but to make Jasper the star of the show, so to speak.  I've always liked to write and this is really my first attempt at writing such an emotional piece. I just cross my fingers that it works.

What do you think is the BEST thing about your fic?

Mainly because its not your average fairytale.  Its not all about Edward and Bella being the modern day Capulets and Montagues and having their Happy Ever After (and don't get me wrong, I love those stories, they keep me going in my deepest, darkest despair when I'm suffering from writer's block!).  At the time of writing this, I'm not even sure how the HEA will even come about and whether it would be truly classed as an HEA.  Its about Jasper trying to deal with the lot he's been given and the decisions and choices he makes as he tries to figure out what's best for everyone.  For someone who was originally the empath in the books, its about him trying to control his emotions through every day life, with the help of the people around him. I looked at every possible scenario and tried to make it work.

WHY should I (the reader) read your story? 

Why should you read my story? Let's see...your husband will be happier, because he will be getting laid more often (well, that's what it did for my Beta). This story features a musical, artistic Tattward and a sassy Bella, rebuilding herself after escaping a bad relationship. Bella finds herself wanting more from what began as an uncharacteristic one night stand. Of course, complications arise. With support from the usual crew (Alice, Rose, Emmett and Jasper), New Bella decides that some things are worth fighting for. This story features realistic characters, smart ass humor, a lil bit of heartbreak, lots of smokin' hot sexy time, a few crazy people and one flaming homo. Not in that order. 

Where did you get inspiration? 

I was inspired to start writing fan fiction by reading other brilliant fics. I was inspired to write lemons by Stephenie Meyer's cockblocking skills. 

What do you think is the BEST thing about your fic? 

You are immediately drawn in between these two characters and root for their relationship to develop. You love them, you hate them, you laugh with them and at them. With a few unexpected twists, you won't know who's team you're on.
