Summary: With medical bills, school bills, not to mention rent, piling up, Bella looks for a way to dig herself out of debt. Rose tells her about a new business she’s gotten into. Bella tries her hand at the business, and ends up paired with Dr. Edward Cullen. But can she separate business and pleasure?
OH Bella Bella Bella what kind of fuckery have you gotten yourself into this time?
AHHH... The Girlfriend Experience... Bella is a struggling college student trying to pay bills and get good grades. She is overwhelmed by her debts (join the club sweetie, we have ratty t shirts)
Bella sees her roomate Rose, who has all these nice things and seems to have tons of time and money. They have a chat and Bella joins an escort service to be like Rose.
NOW NOW let's get something straight first.
Escort service is NOT like working for a whore house! It is kinda like an on-demand dating service minus the warm fuzzies.
Men pay to have some arm candy. It is that simple!
SO to clarify:
- Rose is not a madam
- Rose does not force Bella into this
- Bella makes a choice to do something to get herself out of debt
- and the worst thing she has to suffer through is a pedicure, some waxing AND working out (personally I think I would rather waitress ...maybe)

Where did you get the idea for this story? What was your inspiration?

Miki F: it was your first spark, so sure
w: I was watching CNBC one night ('cause I got smartz) and they had this special on about High End Prostitution. Don't ask me how my brain made the connection, but all the sudden I think to myself "That would be a great idea for a story..." I'd never written smut before, but with a story about call girls and such it was kinda a given that I would have to. I had read it before, but I giggled every time I tried to write it so I knew I would need help. I had just read one of Twin's one shots...I think it was Fire and Ice... and I thought "what could be better than a girl who shares my brain *and* can write smut?"
the answer: not a damn thing
that's when I sent Twin a PM on the Twilighted forum and begged her to help me. The rest is history.

M: I'd seen the same special, so I knew what she was talking about
S: I saw something like that but on Penn and Tellers Bullshit
M: a million emails later, we had our outline
Is there anything you would want readers to know about your story specifically?
M: Edward and Bella will get together, we're not just pulling their legs
w: well, there's that. Also, I'm Team Jake, so it hurts my heart when people review and say mean shit about him. I mean, I realize I write ExB fic, but that doesn't mean that Jake is gonna be some kind of asshole and I would really like it if people realized that. Also, there is a difference between a call girl and an escort. Bella is basically an escort. She only had sex with Mike 'cause she was weak and was kinda lost in the whole situation. Rose is an escort also, but is more prone to act like a call girl shoudl the occasion arise (gettin' busy with the clients that is) AND Rose is NOT a madame
M: Nor is Eric a pimp. Rose didn't force Bella into this. She'd found a solution that worked for her, and when she saw how badly her friend was hurting, she offered her a hand, if you will. She also made it clear that Bella didn't have to take this route unless she was comfortable with it
S: I did not see Rose forcing her into it. Not at all. Is that a common comment?
M: It comes across that a few readers have
S: I thought that Rose seemed reluctant to tell Bella
w: she was
Why should readers read your story?
w: umm...
M: Because it's different
w: yeah, what she said. And neither Edward nor Jake is an asshole (which is something I look for in fics)
M: How many stories are out there were Bella is a women who takes charge for herself, who tries to better herself before Edward even comes into the picture?
w: plus, it's got a little of everything. angst, humor...little bit of dark, little bit of light. well, tries to pay off her debts on her own instead of asking for hand outs. That's commendable, I think
M: Little bit of lemons down the way.... hehe
S: I like his reaction to her erotic pics. That is a nice taste of citrus
w: that's the thing, they weren't erotic. He just needs to get laid, lol
It's been too long and he hasn't found anyone he was attracted to until now... Like REALLY laid.

M: We wanted to capture the violent reaction that comes out of no where that he has to her in the novels, and put our little twist on it. I think it came across okay.
So you do anything special while writing a chapter like listen to special music, need total silence, eat a bag of M&Ms, drink heavily, whatever…?
w: nah, I don't really. For this fic, I don't have a playlist or anything (I have one for my other one). Mainly, I just hear convos in my head and write down what I hear, then bounce it over to Twin, who writes what she hears and bounces it back. It's like fanfic tennis :)
M: I need pretty much total silence. As in, my hubs not coming back every five minutes to ask me an inane question. So nine times out of ten, I'm writing late at night when he's alseep. But I'm weird. When I was working on him looking at the pics, I had S.E.X. by Nickleback blasting in my headphones.
S: hmmm I like fanfic tennis
What do you do after you click the submit button for a chapter?
M: Sigh heavily, then start to freak out worring if the readers will like it.
S: LOL
w: count the seconds it takes NoMoreThanUsual to post it. She's crazy fast

M: I refresh my email a million times looking for that email saying she's posted it. And she's amazing

w: not this one...I do have a song that reminds me of it though

What actor/actress do you picture as YOUR Edward and Bella?
w: Bella=Ashley Greene, Edward = Henry Cavill
8. Is the story all planned out or do you do it as a fly by the seat of your pants thing?
M: We have an outline right up till the end
w: We have a tentative outline, but every now and then we have an idea that pops up that we just HAVE to work in.
S: so planned but flexible
Do you have a posting schedule? If so what is it?
M: oh my...
w: Nope, we just go with the flow
M: Um..no. As soon as the chapters are done, they get sent off to the beta.
w: right
Do you believe in HEA?
M: Yes and no.
w: um, sometimes
S: This is my subtle attempt at getting an ending outta you
w: i won't force it though
M: As long as it works with the story. If the natural progression for the story is for them to end up apart, it would sound fake to force them together. And I think that detracts from the story.

Give me a list of your current projects AND do you have any more fic plans in the future?
M: I'm currently working on two chaptered Potter fics, though one's on haitus for a while due to someone kidnapping my muse. I have a chaptered fic about how Alice's life was before she was changed in the works, and a similar one about Jasper, and one about what would have happened if the Cullens didn't show up until after Bella graduated from Forks. Since none of those are posted yet, I guess they could qualify on both fronts.
And I'm working on an original novel, but the muse decided to take a vacation about >< this far from the end.
w: oh okay, my turn...I have TGE and Seeing Red, which is a New Moon AU. Basically, I couldn't reconcile myself with the way NM ended so I figured I'd change it all up, lol
ummmm...
other than that, I got nothing, though I have lots of ideas and I think I may be doing a sequel to SR. We'll see... oh, and an original fic. My muse has been kidnapped for that one tho
What brought you to fanfic? To Twilight?
M: Well, I got involved in fic ages ago. When I was 14, with HP. Then shortly after the movie came out, my husband bought me Twilight. I watched the movie first, fell in love, then read the book. And went out to buy the next three. After reading BD, I was left unsatisfied, so I googled Twilight Fanfiction, knowing I loved it from my HP days. I found Twilighted.net, and my husband has been seeing a good deal less of me sense.
S: LOL
w: one of my co-workers was a big Twilight fan and told me I should read it. I got the first book from the library and about halfway through reading it, I put the other three on reserve. I finished them all in no time. Then bought them all and read them again just to make sure I didn't miss something. After a while I got bored with rereading and figured there had to be soemthing more. I went to SM's website and read all the extra stuff, then saw that she mentioned something about entering a fanfic contest and losing. I googled fanfic. Here I am
S: BWHAHAHA I am dying at her loosing a FF contest
w: right?!?
M: She bet whomever ran the site that they wouldnt' know it was her, right?
w: she entered anonmously, but still...
M: Wasn't that the Rose story?
w: i don't recall... prolly...

What is your background in writing?
M: I've been writing since I was in grade school. Lots of poems (some of them published) and short stories. When I was in the 9th grade, I started writing (and finished) a screen play about a cheerleader with an abusive father. Sooo Lifetime Movie Network crap. My brother lost the script my senior year. After that I started a novel, then another. And another. Haven't finished a damn thing.
FANTASY TIME

M: Oh god.... This is so embarrasing...

What is your FF pet peeve?
M: Lord, I have so many of them.
w: People making Jake and asshole or a rapist or gay ('cause I want to be on him so that's just no fun for me) Also, when Bella just forgives Edward's crazy ass habits without a second thought
M: I hate when they have them sit around and watch GOF. For some reason, of all my pet peeves, that's the one I get up and walk away from a fic the most with. Don't know why it irks me so, but it does.
What is your Fandom pet peeve?
w: I guess the Jakie hating reviews...also, when people don't pay attention or check the thread. I mean, we can't answer reviews so the thread is primarily where the answers are, but few readers seem to go there...
M: The grudge that people seem to hold against Jake as a whole. In some circles, if you mention that you like Jacob, you get snubbed.
w: There have been a few Edwards that I liked, but that doesn't mean I'm gonna lie and say that Edward is the best thing since sliced bread just for people to like me
M: Or if you like Jake, it's like you missed something in the books. Almost like since Bella didn't choose him, we as readers can't like him. *sigh*
Which character do you identify with the most in your story?
w: i think it's a mix of everyone for me...Each character has an equal amount of my personality/life in them
M: Same here.
Which RL author inspires you? Did any FF authors inspire you?
w: ORSON SCOTT CARD IS THE BEST AUTHOR OF ALL TIME!!!! I eat his books up like candy. For TGE, I'm more inspired by pop culture
M: I'm a huge fan of JKRowling and Patricia Cornwell. Just how much each of them put into their writings, and how real they are to me, is amazing. As for FF authors, there are so many of them that are amazing and talented, and they've all inspired me in a way. It's kind of a risk, if you thik about it, pouring yourself into these stories, then putting them out there for people to do with as they choose. I don't think I would have done it to begin with if I hadn't seen that others had done it and survived.
w: FF authors don't so much inspire me for TGE, but they keep me encouraged that it's possible to write truly amazing fanfiction (mainly Ysar, Lipsmacked, and Kharizzmatik, but there are others too).

w: I was gonna say "Twin wants to know how Taytay feels about older women..."
M: No, I'd ask either Rob or Kristen if they knew when they auditioned how big the films were going to be if they still would have done it. It's clear neither of them likes the limelight, and I've always wondered if they'd back out if given the chance.

w: 2) I understand that some people don't like the pace or subject of TGE. I get that. If you feel the need to stop reading altogether or just wait until the fic is done so that you don't have to wait, we totes get that. do what you need to do 'cause we're writing a story that makes us happy and we understand that that doesn't necessarily mean that everyone else is happy too
3) Keep sending review that hate on Jake. I'll change the whole story up and make it JxB and they'll fuck every chapter. (another ff peeve is when people say Jake can't fuck. What's with that?!?!)
